Hay all,
Well these guys just blow me away. Combine elements of rock with acoustic guitars, a chellow, trumpets, horns, I think a mandolin is in there somewhere and lyrics that swing from the light and carefree to deeply poetic and intraspective, and you only get half the picture of these guys...new, unique and creative, River city Extension are amazing. Check out songs like our New Intelligence for shear inovation in music, where as songs like still own a Bible and Waiting in the Airport show how well these guys can still right songs with lyrics that mean something.
